New Moon In Capricorn: An Intro To My Work

Yes, I am talking astrological stuff. After all, it is a language. Our Earth is moving through the galaxy, shouldn’t we know how it works. Before you scoff, know this: it is easier to be a cynic than it is to be a skeptic. Cynics pour acid without regard for fellow feelings. Skeptics hold enough doubt (like Thomas) to poke Christ in his side, for realz. Not wanting to be fooled ala Luther Vandross’ classic ‘Don’t Wanna Be A Fool’.

Well, I’m a Washington State Attorney (inactive AF) who likes to say “I went to law school in effing Iowa of all places to become a lawyer”.

Now, you need to be saying what does this have to do with a New Moon in Capricorn. Every effing thing.

Capricorn is all about status. Father. Patriarchal. Legal. Control. Can you hear a middle schooler singing the Star Spangled Banner? Capricorn. Little children acting older than their age, Cap. Finding security in conformity…say, it with me, Capricorn. The Curious Life of Benjamin Buttons, Cappy.

It is said that Caps don’t have lives, they have careers. They tend to be shy. Privately, though, not so much. However, I am not writing to the personal at the moment. Capricorn is a focused transpersonal sign. Do your work, be patient, listen to ‘Better Days’ by Dianne Reeves, channel your grandparents, these are Capricorn sentiments (when they allow themselves to have them).

Or when I’m in Diplomatic Atmospheric Mood aka (DAM) I clear my throat for dramatic pause and say, ‘I see in this life you’ve front loaded your most challenging karma’. Rolls off this spiritualist tongue easier than ‘you’ve had a rough childhood’. Well, eff, unless Jesus Negro & Mother Teresa schooled your parents, then you can in and through some wounded folx. Give it up, turn these stories loose.

Oh, eff, that New Moon in Capricorn. Let the underworld be your guide. Go dark. Go deep. Or go home. This is time to see yourself as a member of a larger society. Family got you here, but you’ve got to seek larger visions.

In two days unpredictable and disruptive Uranus begins to move again. Like the center of a hurricane, these forces will not tolerate inauthentic behavior (usually). However, since Daddy NSA Saturn went into his Daddy’s home on December 16 aka Saturn is now in Aquarius, he is stronger than Uranus in Taurus. Oh, btw, each time that this chaotic sky god went into Taurus (every 84 years) he has laid the groundwork (pun intended cuz we be talking earth signs) for a war. 1776, 1861, 1941…can we cease rhyming history, much less repeating it?
